Marketplace & credits

Sell classes on the marketplace

The Profiles.fit marketplace lets you turn classes you've already built into revenue. When you publish a profile for sale, other instructors can buy it and replicate it in their own account. In return, you earn credits that are applied automatically as a discount on your plan renewal.

Requirements before publishing

Profiles.fit validates every profile before accepting it in the marketplace:

  • The profile must be at least 50 minutes of actual duration (not planned).
  • Every segment must have: movement, energy zone, duration and associated track.
  • Descriptive title (even better if it includes theme, discipline or artist, e.g. "Bad Bunny Ride 50 min").
  • Description — short but informative. Buyers read it before deciding.
  • The profile must be in Published status (not Draft).

How to publish a profile

  1. Go to Profiles in the sidebar.
  2. Find the profile you want to sell.
  3. In the row, click the Earn credits button.
  4. A validation modal opens. If something's missing, it tells you what to fix before continuing.
  5. If everything checks out, confirm the publication.
  6. The profile is marked as sellable and appears in the marketplace immediately for other instructors.
Sold profiles get locked Once your profile is sold (the first time), you can't edit or delete it. This protects the buyer: it guarantees the class they get is exactly the one they paid for. If you want to create an improved version, duplicate the profile and work on the copy.

How much do you earn per sale?

The per-sale amount is configurable at the platform level. When you publish, the modal shows the credit you'll earn per copy sold. Credits aren't cash — you can't withdraw them — but they reduce your plan's next renewal bill.

Tracking sales

  1. From the dashboard, the Credits card shows your total balance.
  2. In Settings → Billing there's a section with the transaction history: each sale shows date, sold profile and credit earned.
  3. You'll also see the deductions when credits get applied to a renewal.

Selling strategy

  • Themed classes sell better: Father's Day, Christmas, Valentine's, famous artist birthdays. Clear seasonal demand.
  • Specialize by artist or genre: "Bad Bunny Ride", "Shakira & Karol G", "Reggaeton Power 60 min".
  • Popular durations: 45 min and 60 min sell much more than 30 or 90.
  • Upload several variants: the same theme in 45 min and 60 min to cover different formats.
  • Sales-ready descriptions: include highlights like "10 segments, Z1-Z4 zones, progressive cadence, includes 2 sprints".

Removing a profile from the marketplace

If a profile of yours hasn't been sold yet, you can ask the admin (us) to deactivate it. If it has already sold at least once, it's frozen as-is — existing copies remain in buyers' hands, but it won't be sold any more.

Start with 1 profile, learn and scale Don't publish your 10 favorite classes on day one. Publish 1, see how it does, tune the description if needed, and once you get the first sale, scale to 5-10. Much more productive than spamming with unpolished classes.
